Every day, the Learn More Center helps adults acquire essential skills in reading, writing, math, and computer use. Our mission is to provide educational services and a learning community to meet the instructional needs of adult learners related to workforce readiness, adult basic education, and literacy, which includes High School Equivalency Diploma attainment and post-secondary skills. Learn More Center Receives 2014 Matching Grant Challenge The Learn More Center is pleased to announce that an anonymous donor has, now for the 7th consecutive year, provided an offer of a challenge grant matching the first $5,000 of each gift up to a total of $45,000. It is an honor to receive this challenge grant offer and the Learn More Center is very appreciative to this anonymous donor who supports our mission so generously.
The Learn More Center, with program sites in North Manchester at the Town Life Center at 603 Bond Street and in Wabash at the Wabash Alliance Church at 1200 Cass Street, in 2013 had 50 students achieve receiving their high school equivalency diplomas, proving competency in writing, math and logic skills and with 330 students logging in 13,520 hours of assisted learning.
Other services provided by the Learn More Center include adult basic education, post-secondary preparation, English as a second language; improve math and language skills; and developing skills for job placement
